Michelle + Chris - An Intimate Old Town Alexandria Wedding

Michelle and I have been friends for years. I met her in my past life when I was a pilates instructor and athletic trainer. She actually used to teach pilates to my family and I've taken a few classes from her myself, and let me tell you, the girl knows how to give you an amazing work out! Besides being an amazing personal trainer she is an amazing person, beyond sweet and so genuine. She is one of those ladies you can call on for anything and you know she will be there.

Chris, a New York boy, and fellow personal trainer is just as awesome. I met him a little after Michelle and let me just say this girl found her perfect match. You can just tell how much Chris loves Michelle by the way he looks at her. Chris has a great sense of humor and he loves Michelle's cooking as much as he loves her. He even created her an instagram hashtag for her amazing, nutrious meals!

These two met 7 years ago at their gym and they are great together. They still work out together whenever they can and truly believe that "couples that sweat together stay together". I just love these two and I was beyond honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding. They had a beautifully intimate ceremony in Old Town Alexandria at The Landini Brothers restaurant with just their closest family. Then as the sun began to set we roamed the cobblestone streets of Old Town and found some perfect little alleys and porches for their first portraits as husband and wife. Thank you Michelle and Chris for letting my husband and I be a part of your day!!! We couldn't be happier for you!
